Start me up! aims to bring together startups, investors, academics, and industrial biotechnology stakeholders for a unique exchange focusing on three main themes: chemicals (materials and polymers), agriculture (biostimulants and biocontrol), and enabling technologies.

Are you a European industrial biotech entrepreneur having a start-up in progress or project of creation with a TRL less than or equal to 3, aiming to develop a new technology/product/service and seeking funding? Participate in the contest to win mentoring time with experts from TWB and its ecosystem!

> Fast Track it!

Are you a European industrial biotech start-up of 8 years old or less, with a TRL less than or equal to 6, aiming to accelerate your development? Participate in the contest to win €50,000 of services on TWB platforms as well as participation opportunities with our partners!

  • 8:30 am to 9:15 am: Welcome Coffee
  • 9:15 am to 10:15 am: 1st Session: Chemicals, Materials, and Polymers
  • 10:15 am to 11:05 am: Competition: "Go for it!"
    A pitch contest evaluating the most promising industrial biotech idea, research or innovation will reward a talented entrepreneur by offering mentoring services, equivalent to three days, provided by TWB and its ecosystem as well as Agri Sud-Ouest Innovation and ShakeUpFactory.
  • 11:05 am to 11:30 am: Coffee Break
  • 11:30 am to 12:30 pm: 2nd Session: Agriculture
  • 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm: Lunch Break
  • 2:30 pm to 3:20 pm: Competition: "Fast track it!"
    A pitch contest evaluating the most pertinent industrial biotech project will reward a talented start upper by offering technical services on TWB platforms valued at €50,000 as well as participation opportunities with Bioeconomy For Change & Agri Sud-Ouest Innovation.
  • 3:20 pm to 4:20 pm: 3rd Session: Enabling Technologies
  • 4:20 pm to 4:40 pm: Conclusion and 2024 Award Ceremony
  • 4:40 pm to 6:00 pm: Cocktail
