From Gut to Brain: how our microbiome influences our emotions and behaviors

The microbiota-gut-brain axis is an emerging topic combining two fast-changing disciplines, neurosciences and gut metagenomics.

This International Summer School will offer participants from both backgrounds the opportunity to meet and put into perspective the association of these two disciplines in order to decipher the interactions between the gut microbiota and the brain.

It is jointly organized by the Micalis Institute (INRAE, AgroParisTech, Paris-Saclay University) and the Brain Cognition and Brain Disease Institute (Chinese Academy of Sciences). It will consist in a 5-day webinar course including lectures and practical work (analysis of data from lab animal experiments carried out specifically for this event).

It is open to Masters and Doctoral students and limited to 20 participants.
