17th International Rapeseed Congress
This international event focusing on rapeseed research and innovation will take place in France, featuring three days of presentations and discussions at the Palais des Congrès in Paris (19–21 April 2027), preceded by two days (17–18 April 2027) of field visits in the Aube department. It is aimed at both scientists and industry stakeholders. It is organised by Terres Inovia, Terres Univia, the Federation of Oilseed and Protein Crop Producers and the Global Council for Innovation in Rapeseed and Canola (GCIRC). INRAE is the scientific partner and OCL the media partner.
The International Rapeseed Congress (IRC), held every 4 years, is the peak international event for rapeseed research, innovation and development. The IRC helps rapeseed and canola professionals reach new markets and create enduring relationships in the extensive worldwide network of rapeseed experts. It is a forum for ideas, innovation and networking, highly respected among participants from academia, industry and government, as well as sponsors and exhibitors.
During the IRC in Paris, rapeseed and canola will be at the heart of solutions to tackle the challenges of climate change. As strategic crops for agroecological, food and energy transitions, they are proving their ability to address the challenges of sustainability, self-sufficiency and innovation.
The programme will combine high-level plenary lectures, thematic sessions, working groups and networking opportunities. A field trip before the conference will enable participants to visit experimental facilities and production units showcasing the sector’s latest advances.
The call for papers is now open and registration will open in July.
