One Health Summit - Microbiomes at the heart of One Health: from soil to plate and beyond

Co-organised by EFSA, INRAE and the World Microbiome Partnership as a side event of the One Health Summit, this session brings microbiomes to the forefront of the One Health agenda, exploring their critical role across the entire food system, from primary production to human wellbeing. Leading experts from science, policy and innovation will discuss how microbiomes shape crop productivity, animal health, food quality and antimicrobial resistance—and how their disruption can amplify risks across ecosystems.
