FAO Science and Innovation Forum

From October 17 to October 21st, FAO is organising its second edition of the Science & Innovation Forum, shedding light on the contributions of science, technology and innovation to the necessary transitions in agrifood systems to make them efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable. On this occasion, INRAE, Cirad and IRD are organizing a series of side-events from October 12 to October 14, register now!

Ahead of the forum, from October 12 -14, INRAE, Cirad and IRD are co-organizing  and participating in 6 side-events. Register now for each event below.

Our side-events

  • Oct 12, 10am (CEST): The role of research organisation networks in supporting innovation for food systems transformation (Agrinatura, Ruforum, Cirad)
  • Oct 12, 2pm (CEST): Microbiome research for a sustainable, healthy and safe food system (INRAE)
  • Oct.12, 3pm (CEST):  Collective Scientific Assessments (ICSA):  a key tool for bridgning the gap between science and policy (INRAEIRD)
  • Octo 13, 11am (CEST): PREZODE  event "Preventing zoonotic disease emergence while ensuring food security and livelihoods for the poorest communities"
  • Oct 13, 11am (CEST):  Strengthening agricultural innovation systems: learning from past and present research interventions (Agrinatura, DeSIRA)
