Two publications present the results of FACCE-JPI
The Joint Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI) has published its new brochure and a flyer on soil management in the context of climate change mitigation. The brochure presents the achievements and future actions of FACCE-JPI and includes several key interviews. The flyer highlights some of the research projects that are part of the 'FACCE-JPI Multi-Partner Call on Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research'. Both documents were presented at the International Conference on Agricultural GHG Emissions and Food Security organised by GRA and FACCE-JPI in Berlin (10-13 September 2018).

New FACCE-JPI Brochure
The brochure, Joint Knowledge Creation – Towards sustainable agriculture in changing climate, showcases FACCE’s achievements of the past years and looks forward to the actions of the coming years. Three of FACCE’s research actions show how increased cooperation between member countries contribute to four of the Sustainable Development Goals –(Zero Hunger and sustainable agriculture (SDG 2), Sustainable food production and consumption (SDG12), Climate Action (SDG 13) and Restoring Ecosystems (SDG 15). The foreword is written by the chair of FACCE’s Governing Board, Hartmut Stalb. The brochure also features an interview with European Director for the bioeconomy, John Bell, and interviews with Frank Ewert, chair of the Scientific Advisory Board and Beate Kettlitz, chair of the Stakeholder Advisory Board.
FACCE-JPI flyer on soil management under climate change mitigation
Agricultural practices have a key role in the international climate change agenda. Dr Chaden Diyab, responsible for the valorisation of FACCE-JPI research projects, interviewed project coordinators of the FACCE-JPI Multi-partner Call on Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research. In this flyer, key findings of some of the projects are presented to illustrate potential and emerging applications of project results to face the challenges of climate change adaptation and mitigation. These include various agricultural practices and innovations such as Greenhouse Gas (GHG) calculators, new technologies and innovative resource management.
